Choosing to run in a video game, choosing to capture one Pokémon instead of another, choosing to turn your head with your VR headset, choosing the next part of a story in an FMV... the notion of choice is synonymous with freedom and pleasure.
Why is this notion so important? What impact might it have on player motivation and commitment?
