3 days of immersion to deepen your color grading practice

Downtown Studio, in collaboration with FilmLight, is offering an exclusive 3-day workshop dedicated to experienced colorists who wish to discover Baselight or strengthen their foundational knowledge of this industry-leading platform.

Designed as a technical, intensive, and hands-on experience, this workshop will allow participants to explore the Baselight environment under professional working conditions, guided by a FilmLight instructor and the Downtown Studio team.

The workshop will take place on 3 Baselight systems running simultaneously, with 2 participants per station, ensuring a high-quality learning environment that encourages exchange, hands-on work, and practice.

What’s included
The fee includes:


• participation in the 3-day workshop

• guidance from a FilmLight instructor throughout the entire training

• on-site support from two Downtown Studio staff members

• access to a Baselight system for 2 additional days per participant (subject to availability), allowing each participant to put into practice the skills acquired during the workshop

• Registration deadline: June 30, 2026

• Payment deadline: July 31, 2026

Registration is only considered final upon receipt of payment.
 Until payment has been made, a spot cannot be guaranteed.
Cancellation policy
Due to costs incurred by Downtown Studio and FilmLight, the cancellation terms are as follows:


• no refunds will be issued for cancellations made after July 31, 2026

• refunds may only be considered if the workshop is canceled by Downtown Studio or FilmLight, particularly in cases of force majeure or insufficient registrations.

Prerequisites


This workshop is intended for professionals who already have solid experience in color grading.
Participants must:


• demonstrate at least 3 years of professional experience with DaVinci Resolve or another platform

• have a good level of English, including proficiency in post-production terminology
